There are many breathtaking fountains on all continents around the globe but none are as grandiose and perhaps beloved as the famous Bellagio Fountains.
Eighteen years after the Bellagio was opened, the magical fountains located in the very heart of Las Vegas continue to dazzle millions of tourists from all corners of the world with their spectacular dancing show.
A sight to behold, the illuminated Bellagio Fountains are nested in the so-called Lake Bellagio and surrounded by luxurious restaurants and hotels. What makes them so unique in Las Vegas is that you can enjoy their impressive ‘performance’ completely free of charge.
Among the rare free attractions in Las Vegas, they are definitely worth visiting, no matter if you are staying in Vegas for two weeks or just two nights.
While it is true that you have to see the Bellagio Fountains dancing for yourself to realize just how phenomenal they really are, to get a better idea of why they are one of the landmarks of Las Vegas, just try to imagine 22 million gallons of water dancing in perfect harmony to some of the most famous songs in history, including Viva Las Vegas, My Heart Will Go On, and Bocelli’s famous “Con Te Partiro” . To suit the tastes of younger audiences, the Bellagio Fountains also dance to more modern tracks, including those by DJ Tiesto.
For tourists to stand in awe of the choreographed Bellagio show, a total of 30 people work day in and day out throughout the entire year on maintaining the fountains in perfect condition. You can watch the show every half hour between 3pm and 8pm and every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight 7 day a week. The show begins at 12pm Saturdays and 11am Sundays. Keep in mind that while the day shows are splendid, it’s the night shows that have made the Bellagio Fountains one of the top attractions in Vegas.
For the ultimate Bellagio experience, My Vegas Limo Tour will drive you straight to the fountains, where you can delight in this unique performance and enjoy a glass of champagne while you’re at it. The Bellagio Fountains are included in all our tours, as they are truly a must-see in Vegas.
